Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Phoenix, AZ)

Ironwood Ridge Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders.
