Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Philadelphia, PA)

Cedar Beacon Manufacturing Partners makes precision components in Philadelphia, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
