Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Omaha, NE)

Northwind Sable Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Omaha. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
