Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Oklahoma City, OK)

Ironwood Wilder Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Oklahoma City plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
