Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Kestrel Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Oakland region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
