Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Meadow Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
