Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Oakland, CA)

Clearpath Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Oakland, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
