Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Harbor Energy delivers power and gas plans across the New Orleans region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 808 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
