Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (New Orleans, LA)

Ironwood Orchard Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in New Orleans with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
