Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Fern Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
