Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Quarry Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
