Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Nashville, TN)

Silverline Thistle Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Nashville plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
