Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Foxglove River Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
