Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Orchard Farms Associates supplies farm and food customers across the Minneapolis region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
