Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Milwaukee, WI)

Summit Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Milwaukee, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
