Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Milwaukee, WI)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Milwaukee plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
