Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Milwaukee, WI)

Bright Keystone Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
