Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Drift Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
