Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Bright Keystone Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
