Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Miami, FL)

Cedar Glen Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
