Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Nest Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Miami area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
