Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Madison, WI)

Greenridge Ashton Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 731 people based in Madison. What you will do • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
