Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Foxglove North Construction Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
