Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Madison, WI)

Bluepeak Quarry Farms Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Madison. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
