Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Pine Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
