Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Louisville, KY)

Cedar Vale Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Louisville. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
