Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Louisville, KY)

Northwind Beacon Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
