Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Louisville, KY)

Lumen Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Louisville design routes and schedules. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 509 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
