Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Louisville, KY)

Bright Linden Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
