Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Little Rock, AR)

Northwind Union Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Little Rock, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
