Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Knoxville, TN)

Amberfield Cross Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Knoxville. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
