Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Knoxville, TN)

Harborlight Beacon Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
