Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Knoxville, TN)

Bluepeak Meadow Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Knoxville, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
