Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Kansas City, MO)

Highbridge Pike Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 87 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
