Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Kansas City, MO)

Amberfield Juniper Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Kansas City. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
