Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Jackson, MS)

Clearpath Lakeside Freight is a Jackson logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
