Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Cedar Vale Manufacturing Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
