Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Indianapolis, IN)

Clearpath Sparrow Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Indianapolis. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
