Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Lumen Thistle Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
