Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Houston, TX)

Nova Oak Foods Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people based in Houston. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
