Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Bright Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
