Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Houston, TX)

Cedar Yarrow Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Houston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in Houston. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
