Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Forge Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
