Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Honolulu, HI)

Foxglove Basin Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
