Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Honolulu, HI)

Ironwood Fern Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Honolulu. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
