Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Honolulu, HI)

Greenridge Vista Manufacturing makes precision components in Honolulu. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
