Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Honolulu, HI)

Fernwood Ridge Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Honolulu. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
