Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Iron Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Hartford region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
