Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Juniper Facilities Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for cleaning schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
