Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services Associates is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
